Introductions are in Order
I am many things, a native New Englander, a Husband, a Father, a Military Veteran, a Freemason and a few other things.
I am also someone who loves the artistic beauty found in nature. When I see a downed tree or piece of wood cast to the side, I do not see a piece of scrap or firewood, I see something inside of it, something beautiful and it is my wish to bring it forward for all to see and enjoy!
A very good friend of the family, Richard (Dick) Silvia who is a master craftsman, chair-maker, and Wood Turner offered me an old wood lathe that was no longer in use. It was a 1938 Sears & Roebuck spindle lathe (pictured). After reconditioning it, I built a table/stand for it, wired it up, and prayed. Then I Purchased a chuck and an inexpensive set of turning tools. It was love at the first turn! It wasn't long before I was looking at videos online and watching others turn and trying to learn the technique.
My shop is in Warren, Rhode Island, a small historical colonial town. The quaint town of Warren is located in Southern New England, and nestled in the northeast region of the U.S.A.
